Meet Gene Warhurst, founder of our firm
Gene Warhurst isn’t your typical insurance dispute attorney. Before he founded Warhurst Law in 1995, Gene served as a claims adjuster for The Hartford, one of the largest property and casualty companies in the nation. He continued in claims, rising all the way to a supervisor where he managed and oversaw a large claims staff. All the while, he studied and passed the tests for 7 insurance certifications:
- CPCU – Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter
- AIM – Associate in Insurance Management
- AIS – Associate in Insurance Services
- AIC – Associate In Claims
- SCLA – Senior Claims Law Associate
- FCLA – Fraud Claims Law Associate
- FCLS – Fraud Claims Law Specialist
The CPCU is the most highly renowned designation in the insurance industry; it’s the certification that CEOs and insurance firm founders have. This matters because it speaks to Gene’s desire to always keep learning, and his philosophy that anything worth doing is worth doing to the best of your ability.
After years in the insurance industry, Gene felt a calling to help the insureds he witnessed firsthand getting underpaid or denied for their insurance claims that were being taken advantage of in the most vulnerable and desperate times in their lives. So, he went to law school while still maintaining his insurance claim supervisor position.
What does this mean for you, your family, business, or church?
It means real experience in thousands of property claims, injury claims, and business claims. It means real results handling your insurance claim because you have the advantage of an insurance lawyer fighting tirelessly on your side who has been on the other side as an insurance adjuster. It means getting you what you deserve and have paid for to protect your investment in your house, property, business, or church.
Gene uses his unique experience as a former insurance claims adjuster to effectively and efficiently settle claims for our clients, while maximizing every penny of compensation owed under the policy.
